Interdisciplinary session or teaching is an approach, in which teachers of one department are assigned to teach the students of different department. By doing these kinds of session, students will get to know about the subject or topics which they don’t study in their curriculum. Students who are only imposed to classroom conversations and assignments will now be able to get a precise knowledge about different topics, theories, methodologies and perspectives. Exploring topics across a range of subject boundaries motivates students to pursue new knowledge in different subject areas.

So, to enhance knowledge of students in the field of management, an inter-disciplinary session was organized by Dr. Prachi Singh, HoD, Management Department. Her topic was ‘Perspective & Perception’ and in her talk, she discussed about the meaning of the topic, difference between perspective and perception. Perception is a manner in which we conceive about someone or something. Perspective is the style in which we thing about something, in short it is our point of view respective towards any topic. Exercises related to the topic were also given to the students so that they can participate and properly understand the topic.

Lecture was very informative and interactive. Students were actively involved in the discussions and have cleared all their doubts and queries. All the students very motivated and happy after the session.
